1953 - MS Society Gin 40% ABV

from £6.50

Selkirk Distillers are delighted to continue our support the Multiple Sclerosis society by creating the 1953 Gin. We have decided to make a wee change to the label and bottle.

We are launching a 70cl version of the gin to celebrate our 2nd year anniversary of this delicious gin.

The idea of creating an MS gin was firstly imagined by one of the owners of Selkirk Distillery, Jane Gentleman, and her friend Kirsty Bennett. As both their lives have been affected by MS, they wished to find a way to raise awareness of the condition as well as raising funds for the MS Society. Jane and Kirsty helped create the gin at Selkirk Distillery and named it 1953 in order to commemorate the year the MS Society was founded by Richard and Mary Cave.

Infused with local botanicals, 1953 Gin is a London Dry Gin with dominant juniper flavour combined with a fresh, fragrant floral spirit. The main stand out botanicals include chamomile, cardamom and grapefruit. Outstanding served over ice with an aromatic tonic.

A donation of £5 from each sale is donated to MS Society UK
